Our Story
Lazy Dayz was born in a tiny house in the picturesque Upper Town, the upper, old part of Thessaloniki. Ioannis brought home a second-hand sewing machine along with the groceries, suggesting to Aphrodite that it would be wonderful if they started sewing. Neither of them knew how, which shows that men tend to be overly optimistic sometimes, but let’s admit that without this optimism, we wouldn’t be here now.
Both are graduates of the School of Fine Arts, so they share a love for art and anything artistic. So, in 2014, they decided to create something that would bring art into everyday life and blend aesthetics with simple, functional objects. This is why we don’t handcraft just another plain, monochromatic bag; instead, our products are full of designs, colors, and there’s always a detail to discover.
Everyday life is a struggle, full of tasks, sometimes hassle, so we want to create something that, when you look at it, will brighten your day. Our bags are made with a lot of joy, and we hope that this joy and mood ultimately reach the final recipient, you.
The Future

If you’ve taken a look at our collections, you’ve probably noticed that we mainly create bags that don’t go unnoticed! We love colors, we love prints, and we are on an aesthetic journey toward maximalism.
Our collections aim to bring joy; that’s our primary goal. To look at a product and let it take you on a journey or tell you a little story. We believe it’s all about you. You should be in love with your bag, and you should have the opportunity to introduce small doses of vibrant, joyful, and bold colors into your daily life.
Our goal is to provide high-quality, bold, and unique, handmade pieces. The mix of styles, the unexpected combination of designs and patterns, and the use of rich colors in our designs are what express us.
The materials we use, along with the craftsmanship involved in making our products, are at our core. Inspiration is vital, but each time we must find the right way to turn it into a real product. After trials and experiments, failures and mistakes, we’ve found the formula that works for us!
But it’s not just about the bags.
Team spirit, respect, banter, and small talk in the workshop are essential for us to pour all our love into a product.
Integrity, which is reflected in every relationship we try to build with our customers, is key for us. Integrity means we will never send out a product that isn’t of high quality.
